Data Accuracy

It is our policy to ensure the data we hold about you is correct. When placing an order,  please ensure you give us correct information. Incorrect information may result in your order being delayed or in the case of an incorrect address, may be lost. In this case, we are not responsible for the loss.

Privacy Policy

Your name, address and contact details will be passed to the postal service used to deliver your goods as required. We will not pass your details to any other company or organisation. We will not send you any advertising material without your prior consent.

Security

We take security seriously and have made sure that your data submitted to this site is encrypted.   In addition to this first level of security, credit card details are dealt with on secure reputable companies such as paypal.  We (NextGen-RC) will not handle or request your personal bank details.



Pricing

Advertised Prices

Prices, offers and products are subject to availability and may change.  As we are tightly bound to European based suppliers, we may adjust  product prices according to current exchange rates in order to remain competitive.

Payment Of Goods

Payments for orders are taken at the time of order using one of our secure online payment options.  If for some reason a payment has failed or has not been received, we will contact you as soon as possible to re-arrange or cancel the order, whichever is required.

If you are shopping from outside of the united kingdom, Paypal will automatically convert from Pound Sterling into your home currency at time of purchase.

We currently add a small surcharge of 3.5% onto order paid by paypal.  This is because of businesses get charged between 3.5-4% of the purchase value.

If in rare circumstances an item is out of stock when you order, we will contact you and offer one of the following options:

  1. Full Refund made via paypal
  2. Advise you of the anticipated restock date, and reserving the item for despatch as soon as stock arrives
  3. Full Refund made via paypal and reserving of the item concerned.  We will then inform you via e-mail when the item has arrived in stock for you to re-order.

As a small business, prices quoted for products are final and do not include VAT.

Postage, Packaging and Handling Charges

Our Flate rate for National and international Orders is:  £4.00

Please note that the Flat rate shipping does not cover RTF mikrokopter orders.  In such cases, please contact us for a seperate shipping quote which can be invoiced seperately from the online ordering process.

Additionally International (non UK) orders have the option of adding secure signed for postage at a rate of £3.00.  UK orders are sent  "Signed for" as default.

As a guide, our new shipping model goes as follows:

International (non UK) orders:

  • Orders under £50 - will be shipped by standard Airmail unless upgraded to secure shipping by customer (please add this option to your basket).
  • Orders £50 - £500 - will be automatically shipped by International Signed for Mail incl. insurance at no extra cost!
  • Orders over £500 - we advice using a courier for these - additional charges would apply - please contact us for a quote (this can be done after placing the order)

UK orders:

  • Orders under £40 - will be shipped by Registered First Class mail unless secure shipping option is selected.
  • Orders over £40 - will be shipped by Special Delivery at no extra cost.

International orders outside Europe may incur additional import/customs charges which vary depending on your country.  NextGen-Rc is not responsible for any such charges that are incurred and the Customer will be responsible for payment of these.

Returns

Postal Service

Do not use express services to return items

Faulty Goods

No items will be replaced or refunded without first receiving the goods back.

If goods are returned with fault, they will be sent back to the supplier. We will wait for the suppliers decision regarding the item before replacing or refunding the goods. If the supplier decides the item has been damaged by the customer, no refund or replacement will be given.

Many of our products are components for open self build projects such as the Mikrokopter.  We therefore do not accept any Responsibility for components which were broken due to incorrect handling (such as eccessive heat transer during soldering).  We will however offer our best advice on how such damage can be avoided.

Self Build Projects - [important]

Projects such as the Mikrokopter can arguably still be viewed as prototypes and there is no success for guarantee.  While there is absolutely no reason why a correctly build Mikrokopter would not work, we do not accept liability for rare cases whre problems occur.  However, we will offer our best possible advice and support to solve any problems that are encountered.  These are electronics projects and a small degree of problem solving is part of the fun and should be expected.

Damaged Goods

It is the customers responsibility to carefully check that all merchandise received is undamaged and in good working condition.

If you are returning items to us and they are lost by the postal service you use, we do not accept any responsibility. It is your responsibility to ensure goods are returned to us in the condition in which they were received.

Any claims in respect of damage, shortage or manufacturing faults must be made by e-mail (contact us) within 3 days of receipt of merchandise.

Shipping and packaging charges for returning merchandise will not be borne by us, unless prior authorisation has been obtained. Any charges incurred by us may result in being billed back to sender unless other prior arrangements were made.

Damaged merchandise includes items that have been damaged in shipping. If a shipment arrives at your door with apparent shipping damage, please refuse the delivery. If you have already accepted delivery and then find shipping damage, please contact is immediately. Save all packaging material and paperwork; do not throw anything away! On some occasions the couriers have asked to see any damaged packaging.

Incorrectly Sent Items

If you order an item in error, only the price of the returned goods will be refunded. Postage will not be refunded. We will not accept back items that are not in as-new condition.

It is not impossible that our staff will send you the wrong item by mistake. We apologise if this rare occurrence happens. If this is the case for you then please contact us to let us know what has happened and return the item as soon as possible. We will not dispatch replacements to you with out the incorrectly sent item being returned to us. This is to protect ourselves and our customers from prices increases.  You incured return postage costs will of course be re-embursed.



Order Processing

Postal Losses

If items are lost or damaged on their way to you, we must await confirmation from the courier or postal service used that the parcel was lost or damaged before we can resend items.

If unsecured international mail is used, this may not be possible and we do not accept responsibility for such losses.

Delivery Schedule

Most orders will be despatched within 5 working days of placing the order.  We do however reserve the right to allow for up to 10 working days to despatch orders.  We will always contact you to inform you that your order is running later than our aimed 5 day timeline We always process orders as quick as is possible.

Please allow 7 working days following shipped status on your order before contacting us to advise that an order has not been received. Where signed for shipping has been used we will be able to supply a tracking number to ascertain the current delivery schedule.

Use of Mikrokopter products

Mikrokopter products such as fully build mikrokopters and the individual PCB based components such as Bl Ctrl and Flight Ctrl may only be used for recreational purposes and NOT for commercial purpose.  NextGen-RC or Mikrocontroller.com do not accept liability for any types damages done as a result of use of a Mikrokopter product.
